Rachel Knighton

I have been teaching for 11 years and am doing my student teaching this year from August-November to get my bachelors and teaching license in elementary education. I plan to continue my education and get a masters in educational leadership. As a dedicated teacher, my utmost priority is to help your children realize their fullest potential. I am passionate about fostering their growth, encouraging their curiosity, and guiding them towards success. I firmly believe that every student possesses unique talents and abilities waiting to be discovered. By creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, I aim to unlock their potential and empower them to become confident, independent learners. Furthermore, I want to assure you that I am fully committed to following all school policies and procedures. I understand the importance of maintaining a safe and structured educational setting, where each child can thrive academically and socially. I truly believe that every child Has a very important role to play here in the kingdom of God. I hope to help them realize that and give them the desire to learn the things they need to to be able to become what heavenly father has in store for them.

Hello parents,

I'm excited to welcome any students this next year and wanted to share a glimpse of what you can expect from me. While I do have high expectations and enforce rules, my intention is to challenge and support you and your student in reaching your full potential. I value trust and open communication, so feel free to approach me with any questions or concerns. Together, we'll create a joyful and engaging learning environment that fosters a love for learning and personal growth.

I have been a teacher for 5 years and am in the process of going through school. I will have a maternity leave at the beginning of September.
